They absolutely all can co-exist. Some thoughts, albeit unorganized:
1. We can't let perfect be the enemy of the good. Dream big and be ambitious -- work towards a massive change to our food system - but celebrate the incremental wins.
2. Also, it's important to have a wholistic mindset and be able to play devil's advocate. Being able to understand the alternative argument - against what you're doing - is arguably more important than having a robust argument for your viewpoint down. This will be illuminating.
